Florida is a state in the southern [[United States]]. It has some of the best diving available in the US. Its peninsular coastal waters provide a huge array of dive options ranging from shallow, entry level shore dives to advanced, technical wreck dives and everything in between. In the northern part of the state the landscape is home to countless karst features such as sinkholes and extensive underwater cave systems, making Florida the cave diving capital of the US and one of the most significant areas for cave diving in the world.
